About Me 2017-01-17T21:01:36+00:00

My name is Yuki Cormier. I was born and raised in Tokyo and moved to Canada in 1987. Although art has had been my passion for the longest time, it’s quite recently that I decided to devote my whole life to paint.

I’ve learned so much through raising children, going through good times and bad times and came to the realization that life is so precious. I wanted to fill my canvas and paper with the zest of life, all the emotion and energy, inside through outside.

Famous or infamous, people I paint are often very close to my heart, I interpret the person with my own senses so what you see is the essence of the person.

I also create abstract art with the flow of energy having mind. My own interpretation of the earth’s elements which collide with the energy within us.
